Ahead of ICAO Security Week 2026, scheduled to take place in Astana from 20 to 22 October 2026, Michael Daniel, Chief Executive Officer of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, met with employees of the Aviation Security Department involved in organizing the event.
The CEO highlighted the historic significance of the upcoming event for Kazakhstan’s civil aviation sector and its role in strengthening the country’s international standing.
“I am sincerely grateful to each of you for your dedication, professionalism, and the tremendous amount of work you have invested in preparing for this event. I know that many of you have devoted not only your working hours, but also your personal time and days off to this project. That level of commitment does not go unnoticed.
Behind every major international event are people who stay late, work through weekends, solve unexpected issues, and continue moving forward as one team. This is truly World in Action - people turning commitment, expertise, and teamwork into real results.
I am confident that, thanks to your efforts, Kazakhstan will successfully host ICAO Security Week 2026 and demonstrate the highest standards of organization,” said Michael Daniel.
At the conclusion of the meeting, he wished the team seamless coordination, a successful ICAO Security Week, and the achievement of all planned objectives.
