Almaty. August 1. KazTAG - An unscheduled inspection of a number of airlines was carried out in Kazakhstan on behalf of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the press service of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC reports.

“On the instructions of the head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Aviation Administration conducted an unscheduled inspection of the activities of Bek Air JSC, and based on the results of the identified violations, the aircraft airworthiness certificates and the airline operator’s certificate were revoked. Also, unscheduled inspections of the activities of all airlines and aviation infrastructure facilities in Kazakhstan were completed in order to bring them in line with safety requirements. Based on the results of inspections, for non-compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and ICAO, the validity of the air operator certificates of Azee Air LLP and Sigma Airlines LLP was suspended, the statement said on Saturday.
