Flight safety is paramount. Members of the European Commission outlined the aviation progress achieved by our country. First of all, foreign experts noted the well-established work of the aviation authorities of the republic to identify shortcomings in the field of flight safety and its supervision. The assessment of specialists also touched upon the relevance of the recruitment and training of technical personnel and the measures taken by the state to introduce a quality management system. Also, specialists from the European Commission's Flight Safety Committee emphasized the republic's strategic approach to technical development. This was announced by the head of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, Peter Griffiths. According to him, today domestic aviation is preparing for an important event - the passage of an ICAO flight safety audit. It is scheduled for 2022.
