On October 20 the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan held a meeting with a delegation led by Henrik Hololei, Hors Classe Adviser, Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) of the European Commission, with the participation of the Director General of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan Catalin Radu and staff of the organisation.
During the meeting, the delegation familiarised with the activities and development prospects of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan. The management of AAK was informed about the work being carried out and the progress in the implementation of tasks to ensure flight safety. The parties discussed a wide range of issues, including flight safety, aviation security and further cooperation.
During the meeting, Henrik Hololei positively assessed the implemented approaches to the management of the civil aviation industry in Kazakhstan and improved the level of compliance of flight safety with international standards, especially in the last year and a half.
He also highlighted the importance of aviation for the socio economic development of the country and the aviation prospectives in the context of the Middle Corridor.
