Today, after landing at 15:31, the AN-2 aircraft of private airline Taraz Zhana Alem caught fire. The aircraft performed a medical flight TJA5221 on the route Semey – Urjar.
The airplane landed at 15:25. Fire occurred after the flight, the aircraft was parked and there were no people on board. At 15:50 the fire was contained. There were no casualties.
An investigation into this fact was initiated by Department of Air Traffic Investigation of RoK MIID.
