In December 2023, Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan signed an agreement with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which will improve safety standards in Kazakhstan's air transport sector, improve regulatory efficiency, bring it in line with international and EU standards and use EASA's successful model to achieve these goals.

Based on the implementation plan of the agreement compaosed by the EASA team Mr. Lado Kuljanishvili and Ms. Sorana-Moniсa Сioviсa visited the office of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan in January. EASA specialists met with General Director Catalin Radu , the heads of all departments and offices to define the detailed implementation schedule. Also, a meeting was organized with the Minister of Transport and high-level authorities of the country.
