As a part of the ongoing cooperation in Brussels between the aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and the European Commission, a meeting was held between the Kazakh delegation headed by Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee Talgat Lastaev, Advisor to the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Azat Bekturov, General Director of Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC Catalin Radu with the General Director for Aviation of the Group Mobility and Transport of the European Commission Filip Cornelis.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues, including safety matters and the sanctions policy of the European Union, technical cooperation with EASA, and a horizontal agreement with the European Union.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue work on developing the bilateral cooperation.
