Representatives of the AAK took part in the Forum on the Construction of an Air Hub in Urumqi

On July 11-12, the Second Urumqi International Aviation Hub Construction Forum was held in Urumqi (Xinjiang, China). Representatives of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan (AAK) – Senior Advisor to the Director General Amir Akhmetov and Aviation Standards Specialist Aigerim Yesmurzayeva – participated in the event.

The forum, which brought together industry leaders and scientists from around the world, focused on promoting the development of the Eurasian transport network, enhancing cooperation, and improving the infrastructure and operational efficiency of aviation hubs to achieve high safety and quality standards.

Additionally, strategies for mutually beneficial cooperation of international aviation hubs and the improvement of their services and operational capabilities within the framework of the Silk Road development were discussed.

During the forum, AAK representatives met with the Deputy Party Secretary and Executive Vice Chairman of the Chinese Air Transport Association (CATA) Pan Yixin, and the CEO of Manasik Aviation Yusuf Al-Juhani (Saudi Arabia).

Industry experts exchanged valuable ideas and experiences in the development of aviation hubs. Key recommendations were presented, and cooperation agreements were signed between several airlines and organizations.
