Representatives of AAK and CAA held a working meeting with colleagues from Tajikistan

Representatives of "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" JSC and the Civil Aviation Academy visited the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The visit was carried out with the aim of exchanging experience, improving interaction and coordination between countries on aviation security issues.


The delegation from Kazakhstan, which included the Deputy Director General, Director and Senior Inspector of the Aviation Security Department of the AAК D. Espotanov, D. Katyshev and D. Adilbekuly, the rector of the Civil Aviation Academy B. Seidakhmetov, as well as the head of the ICAO training center A. Bekmukhambetov, held working meetings and  consultations.  During the meeting, the regulatory legal acts of the two countries were studied, as well as consultations were held on improving the skills of inspector personnel and training specialists in aviation security in civil aviation organizations.


In addition, the participants of the meeting informed each other about the current system of public administration of civil aviation and the current situation in the industry.  The delegation from Kazakhstan shared its experience in terms of the structure and activities of the Aviation Security Department of the AAК.  Particular attention was paid to measures to protect civil aviation from acts of unlawful interference, as well as the topic of responding to false and anonymous reports.


In addition, proposals for the training and retraining of personnel at the ICAO training center in Almaty were discussed.


The delegation also visited Dushanbe International Airport, where they got acquainted with the security system of the airport and the territory adjacent to it.


To continue cooperation between the aviation administrations, a protocol was signed on holding joint seminars, round tables, visits to exchange experience in the field of aviation security, as well as on the creation of a consultative and expert group to harmonize the laws of the two countries in accordance with ICAO standards and recommended practices.
