Representatives of the AAK and aviation security services of Kazakhstan airports took part in the ECAC training course "Best Practices for National Auditors, Cargo"

Within the framework of European Civil Aviation Conference, in the period from August 21 to August 23, 2023, in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, the CASE II Project, regulated by ECAC, conducted a training course on the topic "Best practices for national auditors, Cargo".

In order to obtain best European practices for national auditors, aviation security experts from the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in this training course: Deputy Director General for Aviation Security of AAK, Darkhan Yespotanov, Head of the Dangerous Goods Department of the Department of Facilitation, Passenger and Cargo Services of AAK, Daniyar Kanlybayev, and heads of services aviation security of the airports of Astana, Almaty, Aktau and Atyrau.

The study of the best practices of ensuring the security of air cargo and airmail allowed to expand the knowledge of experts from the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of aviation security applied by the ECAC member countries. The experience gained will be implemented by the civil aviation industry to improve the existing procedures for ensuring the security of air cargo and airmail.

The European Civil Aviation Conference is an intergovernmental organization established by the International Civil Aviation Organization and the Council of Europe to develop a safe, efficient, and stable European air transport system. ECAC currently consists of 44 member countries, including all 28 EU countries, 31 of the 32 member states of the European Aviation Safety Agency and all 41 members of Eurocontrol. Kazakhstan received the status of an ECAC observer in 2021 and became the third CIS country admitted to the organization.
