The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan held a meeting in an online format on the topic: “The quality of passenger service and the availability of services at airports in Kazakhstan. Year summary”. The meeting was attended by heads of passenger and cargo transportation services, as well as responsible persons for the airport terminal complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, issues related to the certification surveys and inspections carried out this year were discussed. On the part of the administration, recommendations were made regarding the introduction of document management, requirements for the appearance and communication culture of the staff. One of the important topics of discussion was the introduction of modern technologies for the convenience and improvement of the quality of passenger service, such as the purchase and installation of readers for mobile boarding passes.
In the second part of the meeting, issues related to passengers with disabilities and passengers with mental disorders were discussed. Deputy head of the passenger transportation division of JSC ” Nursultan Nazarbayev international airport” L. Sagieva presented special lanyards for the convenience of servicing passengers with mental disorders at the Nur-Sultan airport.
During the meeting, the head of the transportation organization service of “Turkistan International Airport” LLP, S. Baimurzayev presented the passenger terminal functionality of the first newly built airport in independent Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the final part, changes and additions to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed, where the heads of passenger handling services actively participated with proposals to improve passenger service and passenger handling staff training, in particular the Order of the acting Minister for investment and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 24, 2015 No. 189 “Rules for organizing passenger service at airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
Following the meeting, representatives of airports and the AAK decided to work together to create all the necessary conditions for air transportation for all categories of passengers.
