At the regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on preventing the occurrence and spread of coronavirus infection in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it was considered to open regular flights between Kazakhstan and Qatar.
Thus, thanks to the work of the Civil Aviation Committee and the Qatari aviation authorities to create and expand the legal framework in the field of air traffic between the two countries, Qatar Airways plans to start operating regular flights to Kazakhstan from October 15, 2021, between the cities of Doha and Almaty.
The flights are planned to operate with a frequency of 2 flights per week on Mondays and Fridays on an A-320 aircraft with strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements and under the published schedule on the airline’s website.
Opening regular flights between the two countries will further develop trade, economic, cultural, and tourist relations between Kazakhstan and Qatar.
