The meeting discussed the development of civil aviation in Kazakhstan, the timely implementation of ICAO standards and recommended practices, as well as the implementation of ICAO's global initiatives in the field of flight safety and aviation security.

At the end of the meeting, Mrs. Fang Liu noted the significant progress of Kazakhstan in the development of civil aviation and highly appreciated the measures taken by the state to improve and build capacity in the fields of flight safety and aviation security.

It should be noted that in August 2019, «Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan» JSC was established within the framework of the 68-step of the national Plan "100 concrete steps". This is a fundamentally new approach to ensuring the flight safety and aviation security in the country in compliance with the best international practices of industry regulation. This approach is being introduced in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the first time.
