JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" aviation inspectors were trained in the Air Navigation Services MET Inspector course at the East African School of Aviation ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS in Nairobi, Kenya. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) recommends this course for aviation inspectors on meteorological support of flights.

The course includes both basic and advanced modules aimed at improving inspector skills. The training program covers aspects of flight safety control and supervision in meteorological support of flights. The course was taught by Winston Gicheru, the Aeronautical Meteorological Inspector,  National Coordinator – Aviation Green House Gas Emissions Reduction Activities, Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
