More than 4.5 million passengers were transported by the airlines of Kazakhstan in the first half of 2022

Passenger turnover continues to show growth following the results of 6 months. The number of passengers carried by Kazakhstani airlines increased by 7% to 4.6 million people (in the first half of 2021 - 4.3 million people). The growth compared to the same period in 2020 amounted to 119% (2.1 million passengers).

On international routes, Kazakhstani airlines carried 1.2 million people in the first half of the year, which is 60% more than the same period in 2021 (0.7 million). Accordingly, 3.4 million passengers were transported on domestic lines (3.6 million in 6 months of 2021).

The passenger traffic of Air Astana amounted to about 1.8 million passengers, FlyArystan - almost 1.4 million, SCAT - about 1.7 million, Qazaq Air - 238 thousand passengers.

The number of passengers served at airports over the same period increased by 10% to 8.9 million people (6 months of 2021 - 8.1 million).

Currently, domestic flights are operated by 5 domestic airlines on 57 routes with a frequency of 687 flights per week.

International flights are operated to 28 countries on 115 routes with a frequency of 518 flights per week (Turkey, UAE, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Germany, Egypt, South Korea, the Netherlands, Poland, Armenia, Great Britain, Maldives, Thailand , Azerbaijan, Qatar, Kuwait, Mongolia, India, Iran, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, China and Saudi Arabia (since September 2022).
