In accordance with the decisions of the Interdepartmental Commission on preventing the emergence and spread of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Turkish airlines are allowed to open an international regular flight on the route Turkestan – Istanbul and resume a regular flight on the route Shymkent – Istanbul.
So, Turkish Airlines plans to start operating new flights between the two Turkic capitals on the route Turkestan – Istanbul – Turkestan from May 22, 2021. At the initial stage, flights will be operated with a frequency of 1 flight per week (6 days) on an A-321Neo aircraft.
At the same time, the designated Turkish air carrier Pegasus Airlines plans to resume regular flights between Shymkent and Istanbul from May 23, 2021. Flights at the initial stage will be operated with a frequency of 1 flight per week (7 days) on a B-737 aircraft.
It should be noted that as the epidemiological situation improves, a phased increase in the number of flights is planned.
The flights will be operated in strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements and in accordance with the published schedule on the airline’s website.
