At 03:50 pm on February 23 in the West Kazakhstan region, a Kazaviaspas-produced Mi-8 AMT 2021 helicopter made a rougth landing while overflight of the pipeline at the request of Kaztransoil JSC. On board, there were 5 crew members and 2 passengers.

According to the latest data, the search group of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has reached the helicopter. There were 4 fatalities and two people were injured.

The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan and Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID RK expresses its condolences to the relatives and friends of the citizens who died in a hard landing of the helicopter.

The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan's Department of Accident and Incident Investigation will conduct an investigation.
