Results of the meeting of the European Union Aviation Safety Committee, the European Commission updated on June 1, 2022 Regulation (EC) 474/2006 of March 22, 2006, establishing a list of air carriers that are prohibited from flying in the EU.

At the last meeting of the Committee, the situation on flight safety in Kazakhstan was considered. The European Commission positively noted the measures taken by the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan to improve the level of flight safety in the country.

The European Commission believes that at present there are no grounds for including the airlines of Kazakhstan in the list of air carriers which activities are subject to a ban in the European Union.

Thus, Kazakh airlines do not have any restrictions on flights to European countries and no restrictions are planned in the near future. The Civil Aviation Committee and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan will continue regular interaction with representatives of the European Commission on flight safety matters.
