The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan conducted 2 inspections on February 19-21, 2020, April 14-16, 2021 of the operator of the Aktobe airfield, Aktobe International Airport JSC. In the period from 5 to 9 October 2020, a certification survey of the aerodrome was carried out. The aerodrome airworthiness certificate is valid until October 16, 2021.

The issue of the state of the runway was raised by aviation inspectors of JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" at all inspection checks, including certification survey.

According to the corrective action plan dated April 23, 2021, the operator of the Aktobe airfield undertook to carry out repair work to eliminate defects in artificial pavements by July 15, 2021. At the moment, on July 23, 2021, an unscheduled inspection of the operator of the Aktobe airfield is scheduled for closing the observations of the inspection inspection on April 14-16, 2021. In addition to assessing the condition of the runway, the inspection will analyze the flights of cargo aircraft and their impact on the condition of the runway.

For its part, the operator of the airfield of the city of Aktobe on a daily basis monitors the condition of the artificial surfaces of the runway and is responsible for the safety of flights at the airfield.

Based on the results of an unscheduled inspection, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan will provide additional information on this issue.
