For the personal safety of passengers, the aviation security service conducts a pre-flight inspection. The procedure of screening passengers, their hand luggage and checked baggage is mandatory. For carry on, as well as for checked baggage, there are aviation security restrictions. Prohibited dangerous substances and items found in the passenger’s hand luggage (baggage) during the inspection may be transferred to the seeing off persons or taken for temporary storage. Compressed gases, toxic, toxic and flammable liquids are not accepted for storage.

The exception for carriage is medicines, baby food and special dietary requirements in the amount required for the duration of the flight, as well as liquids purchased at duty-free shops at the airport or on board, packed in a securely sealed plastic bag that provides visual identification of access to contents of the package during the flight, and reliable confirmation of this purchase was made at airport duty-free shops or onboard on the day of travel.


Dangerous substances and items prohibited for carriage in hand luggage and in baggage: explosive and other deadly devices, explosives and articles containing them, all types of gunpowder, grenades, mines and shells of all types, hunting caps (pistons) and detonator caps, pyrotechnic devices, lighting rockets of any kind, including firecrackers, sparklers, firecrackers and pistons for toy pistols, landing bombs, smoke cartridges (checkers), dynamite, tol, ammonal, tnt, caps, detonators, electric detonators, electric igniters, detonating and fire-conducting cords, radioactive substances; narcotic substances, compressed and liquefied gases, all types of aerosols, carbon dioxide cylinders for self-inflating life jackets, flammable liquids and substances, acetone, gasoline, samples of petroleum products, methanol, methyl ether, carbon disulfide, esters and other flammable liquids, flammable solids, potassium, sodium, metallic calcium and their alloys, white, yellow, red phosphorus, other substances in the category of flammable solids, organic peroxides, colloidal nitrocellulose, toxic and toxic substances, brucine, nicotine, strychnine, tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol, antifreeze, ethylene glycol, mercury, all prussic acid salts and cyanide preparations, cyclone, cyanplav, arsenic anhydride, infectious or biologically hazardous materials, caustic and corrosive substances, inorganic acids, hydrochloric, sulfuric, nitric and other acids, hydrofluoric (hydrofluoric) acid.
