Due to the suspension Bek air flights from 27 to 31 December this year, the airline has canceled about 100 flights on routes (Nur-Sultan-Kyzylorda, Kyzylorda-Nur-Sultan, Nur-Sultan-Atyrau, Atyrau-Shymkent, Shymkent-Nur-Sultan, Nur-Sultan-Almaty, Almaty-Uralsk, Uralsk-Almaty, Almaty-Aktau, Aktau-Almaty, Almaty-Pavlodar, Pavlodar-Almaty, Aktau-Shymkent, Atyrau-Almaty, Nur-Sultan-Shymkent, Almaty-Nur-Sultan, Shymkent-Atyrau, Atyrau-Nur-Sultan, Nur-Sultan-Almaty, Shymkent-Aktau). 9157 tickets were sold for these flights (8180 adults, 765 children, 212 babies).

Currently, ”Bek air” is working on the return of the full cost of tickets for all flights, scheduled for implementation until the December 31, 2019.

The number of passengers on BEK air flights from January 3 to 10, 2020 (January 1-2, 2020 flights were not planned earlier) was 9,785 (8307 adults, 1,153 children, 325 infants).Passengers of the canceled flights are encouraged to consider flight options with other airlines, as well as with other modes of transportation.

At the same time, according to Kazakh airlines, prices for air tickets did not rise due to the cancellation of flights of Bek air. Information about the increase in tariffs in connection with the disaster does not correspond to the reality. On the eve of the New year holiday and the weekend, airfare prices are traditionally higher than on normal days. To prevent overpayments through intermediaries, passengers are advised to purchase tickets on the official airlines websites and accredited points of sale.

In order to resolve issues related to the transportation of passengers of Bek air, the MIID of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducts appropriate work with Kazakh carriers.

According to "Air Astana" and "Qazaq Air" airlines, passengers of the canceled flights can use the services of these airlines until December 31 this year if there are spare seats on similar routes at the cost of purchased tickets for BEK air flights. Tickets must be purchased directly at the ticket offices of air Astana and Qazaq Air.SCAT airlines until December 31 this year if there are available seats, will be accepting passengers of Bek air for transportation on the basis of the transfer sheet with the indication of the passenger data provided by the representative of Bek air.

Air Astana also introduced additional flights between Nur-Sultan and Almaty on December 28 this year (departure time at 05: 00 and 10: 00 local time). Close relatives of injured passengers are accepted for transportation free of charge. In addition, during the new year holidays and the long weekend, air Astana has introduced additional flights from Almaty to Nur-Sultan, Aktobe, Aktau and Atyrau.
