Information on the aircraft accident occurred in Karaganda region this morning

On September 30, this year, flight UPLA286 from the Balapan site (Karaganda) took off at 07:46. After no contact, during the search, the aircraft (Tecnam P 2002 JF) was found in the second flight zone. The aircraft was totally destroyed, and two people were fatally injured (an instructor pilot and a student). The meteo conditions were KAVOK (visibility greater than 10 km, ground visibility 0). The Operations Center activated the AAK emergency plan, discussed flight safety issues, and prepared documents for investigation. The operator of the aircraft carries out activities related to the professional training of aviation personnel. Their certificate was issued by JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" on November 25, 2022. The last certification examination was conducted by aviation inspectors of JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" during the period from November 21 to November 25, 2022. The airworthiness certificate of the aircraft that was involved in the accident was issued on June 4, 2020. The year of issue was July 29, 2011. It was registered in the State Register of Civil Aircraft of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 13, 2020. The victims of the accident were the aircraft commander (pilot-instructor), who had 1097 hours of flight time, and a cadet of the military institute. He had a valid CPL (A) certificate #000012 issued on November 28, 2019; a special mark of instructor pilot was entered by KAMA LLC, valid until July 1, 2025. The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan express their condolences to the families and relatives of the victims of the aviation accident.
