Flights of unmanned aerial vehicles

14/06/2021

The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC of the Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID implements measures to ensure technical control and supervision of flight safety in the airspace of Kazakhstan. The unmanned aviation market has been developing rapidly around the world recently, and this trend has touched our country as well. Flights of unmanned aerial vehicles, in some cases, are carried out without compliance with safety measures and have an impact on the flights of civil aircraft, which can lead to unacceptable risks in the field of flight safety. In this regard, the “Rules for the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles in the airspace of the Republic of Kazakhstan” were developed and entered into force, approved by Order No. 706 of the Acting Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 31, 2020.

The above-mentioned rules determine the procedure for the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles in the airspace of our country. Understanding the importance of this issue and the involvement of Kazakhstanis in this activity, an infographic was developed with a simple statement of the main provisions of the rules.
