Employees from AAK attended the ICAO Expert Group Meeting on Promoting the Implementation of Standards and Practices in the Field of Air Navigation Services

The ICAO Expert Group on Promoting the Implementation of Standards and Recommended Practices in the Field of Air Navigation Services (Air Navigation Services Implementation Support Group (ANSISG/05) met in Yerevan for the fifth time.

Representatives from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan attended the event, as did representatives from the European Organization for Air Navigation Safety (EUROCONTROL), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), and the International Advisory and Analytical Agency "Flight Safety."

Employees of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan - Senior aviation inspectors of the Air Navigation Department Adil Umurtaev and Vyacheslav Skiteikin, as well as the chairman of this working group, Deputy Director of the ATM Department of the Kazaeronavigation RSE Kairat Tlenshin - represented the Republic of Kazakhstan at the meeting.

During the meeting, states presented reports on the implementation of the ICAO Aviation System Upgrade Units (Air Navigation System Block Upgrade (ASBU)), as well as presentations by international organizations on flight safety issues in the field of air navigation and flight search and rescue support.

Representatives of the Kazakh delegation presented the Report of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as detailed responses to meeting participants' questions.

The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC's activities were highlighted. Kazakhstan's achievements in accommodating increased air traffic in 2022 with a change in the structure of Kazakhstan's airspace, as well as the introduction of a Global Format for reporting on the condition of the runway Surface (GRF), which began to be used in Kazakhstan on November 4, 2021, in accordance with the date set by ICAO and the National GRF Implementation Plan, were recognized.
