In the framework of cooperation with the European Commission in the field of civil aviation, a meeting of the Kazakh delegation headed by the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee Talgat Lastaev, Adviser to the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Azat Bekturov, Director General of JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" Catalin Radu, employees of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Belgium and the head of the Commissioner Office of the European Commission on Transport Issues Walter Goetz.

During the meeting number of topica were covered, including the safety matters and increasing the flights between Kazakhstan and the countries of the European Union, as well as introducing the norms of the "horizontal agreement" on air traffic between Kazakhstan and the European Union.

The parties agreed to continue working on the development of bilateral cooperation.
