Director General of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan Catalin Radu convened an emergency meeting of the Operations Center in response to the Mi-8 accident

Representatives from the departments of airworthiness, flight operations, air navigation, licensing, aviation medicine, search and rescue and safety management attended the meeting.
The AAK emergency plan was activated, flight safety issues were discussed, and documents for the investigation were prepared.
The airworthiness certificate for the Mi-8 involved in the accident was issued on May 3, 2022. The helicopter was manufactured on January 27, 2021. On 14 April 2022, it was registered in the State Register of Civil Aircraft of the Republic of Kazakhstan (certificate number – 1273, the aircraft's state and registration plate UP-MI874).
The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan order an unscheduled inspections all Mi-8 air operators.
According to the results of the inspections, if violations of a systemic nature are revealed, the relevant certificates will be suspended until all safety issues are resolved.

JSC "Kazaviaspas" has a valid certificate for the right to perform aviation work № KAZ-02/027 until October 1, 2024, issued by the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan on October 1, 2021.
The airline operates 33 aircraft (Mi-8 - 9 units; Mi-171 - 2 units; Ka-32 - 2 units; ES-145 - 16 units; H-145 - 2 units; H-130 - 2 units).
