Today, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC with the support of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted coordination exercises on the organization and conduct of search and rescue operations. The crew and representatives of Kazavispas JSC on duty in the Turkestan search and rescue region, the Search and Rescue Coordination Center and the Air Traffic Service of the Shymkent branch of the Kazaeronavigatsia RSE, the forces and means of the operational and rescue squad of the Firefighting Service and Emergency Rescue Operations of the Emergency Situations Department of Shymkent (rescuers), branch of the State Institution “Center for Disaster Medicine” of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan (medical workers), emergency rescue team of the airfield in Shymkent have attended the exercise.

During the exercise, the above services worked out the method of interaction during search and rescue operations, methods of searching for an aircraft in distress, selection of landing sites for search and rescue aircraft landing and evacuation of victims from the scene. The EC-145 helicopter on duty from Kazaviaspas JSC with rescuers and medical workers on board was used to conduct the exercises.
