The Civil Aviation Committee continues to work on behalf of Kazakhstan's Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, K.A. Uskenbayev, to hold airlines accountable for violating passengers' rights during flight delays.
So, for the third decade of August this year, Air Astana Airline (of which the Fly Arystan Airline is a structural subdivision) was fined 2,000 MCI (6,126,000 tenge) for violating passenger rights during flight delays.
Air Astana was fined a total of 6,000 MCI in six separate incidents (18,378,000 tenge).
SCAT Airline was given administrative responsibility in the form of a 1,000 MCI (3,063,000 tenge) fine for violating passenger rights during flight delays. Kazakhstani airlines were brought under administrative control seven times during the specified period, totaling 7,000 MCI (21,441,000 tenge).
As part of its work, the Civil Aviation Committee adheres to the requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan's current legislation regarding the protection of passenger rights.
Carriers will face the consequences if they commit repeated violations.
