One of the most important achievements of the current year for the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the successfully passed audit of the industry by ICAO auditors as part of the ICAO Coordinated Validation Mission (ICVM).

As a result of the audit, Kazakhstan increased the level of flight safety to 84%, which is 15% higher than the world average.

Netherlands - 87%; Belgium - 87%; Portugal - 87%; Czech Republic - 87%; Latvia - 86%; Denmark - 85%; Iceland - 84%; Poland - 84%; Slovenia - 82%, Cyprus - 82%.

In order to audit the industry, visits by the European Commission were organized with the participation of representatives of the European Aviation Safety Agency and the aviation authorities of the countries of the European Union and experts from the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

The US aviation experts appreciated the well-coordinated work of the Ministry, the Aviation Regulator and airports, and noted their openness to auditors.
