The Civil Avation Committee of MIID of RoK and Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan Work to Ensure Flight Safety

Aviation Administration: 

Revoked Air Operator Certificate of Bek Air JSC for failure to take corrective actions for findings;

Suspended Air Operator Certificates of Azee Air LLP and Sigma Airlines LLP for violation of the Republic of Kazakhstan legislation and ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) requirements.

Assessment and forecasting of legislative efficiency by identifying inefficiently implemented legal norms and formulating proposals for their improvement is ongoing. 

Additional terms are defined for registration of cargo aircrafts and their subsequent control, which are included in the concept of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ‘Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Issues of Restoring Economic Growth’ (the expected date for adoption of the Law – 4th Quarter of 2020).

The level of safety oversight in ICAO member states is determined by the results of ICAO audits (audit or validation mission).

According to preliminary information, the ICAO audit in Kazakhstan is expected to take place in the first half of 2022.

To increase the level of effective implementation of standards and recommended practices of the ICAO in flight safety in Kazakhstan, the concept of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ‘Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Transport Issues’ (expected date of adoption of Law – 4th   Quarter of 2021).
