In Montreal (Canada) at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) anniversary assembly, was held a working meeting of Kazakhstan delegation with representatives of the Canadian aviation authority on issues of cooperation in the field of air transport. The Canadian delegation included representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Transportation, and the Canadian Transportation Agency.

During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation in international air transportation, the Agreement on air traffic between the two parties, and the matters of an agreement between the air carriers of the two countries.

It should be noted that in order to improve the process of sharing experience and improving working methods in the field of aviation security, a visit of the delegation of the Canadian aviation authority to Kazakhstan is planned in October this year.
