From 8 to 9 November, 2022, the international IATA conference "Wings of Change (Europe)" is being held in Istanbul (Turkiye). This event brought together key European and global players in the civil aviation industry (representatives of ICAO, European Commission, Eurocontrol, EASA, aviation authorities, airlines and other interested organizations) to discuss and agree on further actions aimed at accelerating the recovery of the industry. International experts discuss the industry's current state, sustainable development, infrastructure, service availability and the relationship between aviation and tourism at the conference panel discussions.
Within the framework of the conference, the Director General of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, Сatalin Radu and IATA Vice President for Europe Rafael Schwartzman, in the presence of the IATA Board of Governors Chairman, Mehmet Nane signed a Memorandum aimed at cooperation in the field of ensuring flight safety, aviation security and quality of passenger service. This Memorandum of Cooperation represents another step toward strengthening the cooperation and partnership with the global industry to enhance the profile of Kazakhstan aviation.
