The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Oleg Bocharov, the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov, the leadership of the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan. The parties noted the high level of cooperation at the level of aviation departments and confirmed mutual interest in its further development and strengthening.

Kazakhstani enterprises presented products in the field of military and civil aviation at the MAKS-2021 International Aviation and Space Salon. Prototypes of aircraft, combat complexes and experimental installations were presented. Kazakhstan, being a co-organizer of the exhibition, ensured the participation of more than 20 domestic aircraft manufacturing enterprises at the air show site. The strategic task is to develop our own production and localization within the country and promote our own developments to foreign markets. The Kazakh side is scheduled to meet with potential partners, as well as sign a number of agreements and memorandums of cooperation.
