By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the commander of the Boeing 757/767 of Air Astana JSC Ospanov Yerbol Abylayevich was awarded the state award, the Order of Barys, II degree.

The award was presented by the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov. Ospanov Erbol Abylaevich worked in the civil aviation industry for 46 years. Was born on June 9, 1955 in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

He began his career in 1974 as a co-pilot of the An-2 of the Ust-Kamenogorsk united air group.

He held the positions of chief pilot of the crew of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Tu-154, Boeing-747, Boeing-767 aircraft, deputy director for flight service, commander of Boeing-757, 767 of the Berkut State Airlines of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chief pilot, head of the flight safety inspection of Orient Eagle Airways JSC.

From 2005 to 2018, he was Vice President of Air Astana JSC. From 2018 to the present, he has been an aircraft commander.
