"Tired of waiting." Two years of Bek Air crash, investigation pending

On the morning of December 27, 2019, a Bek Air Fokker 100 passenger plane was supposed to fly from Almaty to the capital. When trying to take off, he lost altitude, broke through a concrete fence and crashed into a two-story house under construction. 12 people were killed, including the crew commander, and another 69 people were injured. The co-pilot died a month later at home from a pulmonary thromboembolism.
