Open skies regime extended for five years in Kazakhstan

06/01/2023

The "open skies" regime has been extended in Kazakhstan for five years, until 2027. This, as the Civil Aviation Committee told Zakon.kz, will allow expanding the geography of flights and increasing the number of international flights.

The CAC specified that this regime provides for the removal of all restrictions on the number of flights and the provision of the fifth degree of "freedom of air" to foreign airlines on routes where Kazakh airlines do not operate.
