The use of forged identity cards and forged travel documents remains an important method often used by cross-border criminal networks. This was stated by Sylvain Lefoyer, Deputy Director of the Aviation Security and Facilitation Sector of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), at the regional symposium on the TRIP passenger identification program, which is taking place in Almaty.
